    Thea Thomas, is a fourth generation lifetime member of Austin Grove Church. “This church represents more than a building but it is a major part of my African American family heritage and spiritual growth.”

  • Kevin Grigsby

    Kevin Grigsby is a descendant of the first settlers of Howardsville. He grew up in Loudoun County where he spent a great deal of time in Howardsville throughout his childhood. It was those childhood memories in Howardsville that provided much of the inspiration for his book Howardsville The Journey of an African-American Community in Loudoun County, Virginia. Kevin graduated from Loudoun County High School in 1991.
