Our Mission

To protect the historic building built in 1911 by the stone mason and carpenter sons and grandsons of freed slaves and equally as important, to preserve a legacy of love and faith, and hope for the future of the community.

Protections being sought:
National Register of Historic Places

Why Preservation?

Historical and cultural significance of the property: When it was built; why it was built; what purpose it served; and why it mattered.

Short-Term Goal

Continue to keep the building in good order, functioning, and viable for various community and appropriately approved activities.

Long Term Goal

To ensure that future generations of Loudoun residents, particularly those in Western Loudoun, know about those who built and found hope from attending the church, and that they lived and mattered.
